Parenting and Decision Making

Funded by the Clinical and Translational Research Unit (CTRU) at the University of Georgia

In collaboration with UGA's Youth Development Institute, Assaf Oshri, Emilie Smith, and Cindy Suveg, this study focused on early-life stress, health risk behaviors, and parent/child interaction among youth and families in the Athens area. Biological data was also assessed in conjunction with this.

The first round of data collection was collected in Spring of 2017, and in January of 2018, a follow up study began assessing families in their home environment.
